The success story continues: after HEISSE ZEITEN and HÖCHSTE ZEIT comes with HIMMLISCHE ZEITEN the new revue of Blomberg/Gerlitz/Wolff to the Fritz Rémond Theater im Zoo. We look back at what has happened so far:
In HEISSE ZEITEN we experience four ladies who for ten years the pitfalls of menopause with dance, song and cheeky mouthwerk counternen and bring the audience to cheer.
It was HIGH TIME to send them on another adventure in which relationship and wedding madness is gleefully dismantled. And now?
HIMMELIC TIMES! Because life doesn't end with a happy ending and what would a trilogy be without a third part? And in this part it goes to the core! What remains after menopause and later divorce, after Brigitte Woman and Dove Pro Age? The authors approach the seriousness of old age with due seriousness and set their comedy in the private ward of a hospital. There they meet again: the career woman who wants to defend her managerial post against the competition with a cosmetic overhaul, the young woman who has her second child shortly before the deadline, the housewife whose pension is not enough to live on and only just enough to die on, and the noblewoman who suffers from memory problems after colliding with a hard-hit golf ball. They all struggle with growing old, with the symptoms of decay, with the fear of the end and the hope for an after. And they do so in their usual laconic and entertaining manner, for this evening is a celebration of life and friendship. Lovable characters, quick-witted dialogues, hilarious situations and lots of music make this evening once again an unforgettable experience. With new lyrics provided hits such as Tainted Love and (how could it be otherwise?) That's What Friends Are For u.v.m. let the four ladies to top form.
