The Latin American Christmas Market at Konfuzius Franz - a cultural festival for the whole family
On the weekend of November 26 to November 28, 2021, O&M Event Gastro GmbH will host a Latin American Christmas Market at Konfuzius Franz, Frankfurt. The aim of the event is to promote intercultural exchange and create a place for conversations in a cozy atmosphere. Under the motto "Experience connects", the focus is on getting to know other cultures. Through diverse encounters, joint dance workshops, folklore performances and the sampling of culinary dishes, dialogue between cultures will be encouraged.
On three days of events, Friday, from 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., a colorful social program with live music, Latin American dance classes and folklore shows will provide entertainment. Regional artisans from Peru, El Salvador, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia will present their handmade crafts of wood, silver, textiles and much more. Selected food booths from South and Central America provide a diverse culinary experience. Each stand presents a different Latin American country. To also represent the traditional customs of a German Christmas market, typical Christmas cookies and, of course, mulled wine will be offered.
For the children, among other things, a Santa Claus will be on site and there will be the piñata, a Latin American tradition where children beat on colorfully designed figures, which are filled with sweets.
