From 29 May to 1 June 2026, Oberursel (Taunus) will be celebrating its Fountain Festival. Throughout the old town, a wide variety of stalls offering national and international food and drinks will invite visitors to linger. The "Frankfurter Volksbank Stage" offers a colourful programme on the market square.
In the International Village in Weidengasse, organised by the town of Oberursel, the Association for the Promotion of Oberursel Town Twinning will be presenting itself with its own stall and culinary delicacies, as is tradition. This year, guests can once again look forward to interesting offerings: French cheese, crêpes, red and rosé wines, English beer from Oberursel and Persian specialities. The cosy atmosphere invites visitors to linger and chat.
Bleiche amusement park
A modern amusement park awaits visitors of all ages at Bleiche. In addition to the crowd favourites Skipper and bumper cars, there are other rides to enjoy, with the Ferris wheel once again a highlight of the Brunnenfest. Raffle booths and many other attractions round off the programme – there is something for everyone and all age groups!
Children's programme
In addition to the stalls in the old town and the amusement park on the Bleiche, there is also plenty on offer for children. On Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Obere Hainstraße will once again become the "children's mile". Here, the Culture and Sports Promotion Association and the Children's House, together with various clubs and institutions, will offer lots of fun and games for young visitors. Free craft activities and all kinds of movement games invite everyone to join in.
