Oppenheimer Gourmet Hike (Wine Hike)

Where: Oppenheim ampersand Dienheim (Rheinhessen), starting points at Oppenheim market square (Merianstraße 2, 55276 Oppenheim) or at the starting point in the vineyards (signposted).

What to expect:

10 stations with wines directly from the vineyards, snacks ampersand more; the winegrowers present the current vintage.

• Family-friendly gourmet walk – take as much time as you like along the way.

Prices / Entry:

• Festglas (admission): £3.50 (limited edition glass).

• Starter package: £8.00 (wine glass with filling – sparkling wine or wine –, plus wine glass holder/carrier bag).

Getting there:

• Rhine-Neckar S-Bahn, line S6 (Mainz ↔ Oppenheim ↔ Worms) every 30 minutes.

• Alternatively, by car; including parking spaces at LIDL, Sant’Ambrogio Ring 1 and Central Car Park, Amtsgerichtsplatz 2 (signs on site).
