Rheingau winegrowers present fine wines on Frankfurt's "Flaniermeile" Freßgass'. Over 600 wines and sparkling wines from the Rheingau will be tasted at 25 wine stands. The range extends from the finest wines to light and sparkling summer wines and, in addition to Riesling, which dominates the Rheingau, wines made from alternative grape varieties are also served.
Traditionally, the wine and sparkling wine offer is complemented by food stalls from the Freßgass' residents. These offer a traditional and international range of snacks. It includes meat loaf, knuckle of pork or bratwurst, as well as spare ribs, Thai, Chinese and Italian specialties and tarte flambée.
