Rheingau vintners present fine wines on Frankfurt's "Flaniermeile" Freßgass'. More than 600 wines and sparkling wines of the Rheingau will be tasted at 25 vintners' stands. The range spans from the noblest drops to light and sparkling summer wines and in addition to the Rheingau dominating Riesling, wines are also served that are made from alternative grape varieties.
Traditionally, the wine and sparkling wine offerings are complemented by food stalls from Freßgass'residents. These offer a traditional and international range of snacks. It includes as well Leberkäse, Haxen or Bratwurst, as Spareribs, Thai, Chinese and Italian specialties to Flammkuchen.
