Schoolboy Q - Crash Tour

He is one of the most talented and influential rappers of the western arts - ScHoolboy Q. In April, the musician released his new album, "CrasH Talk," proving once again that you don't have to put out music like it's on an assembly line to stay significant. With the new songs and special guest Jay Rock, it goes 2020 on big "CrasH Tour". The four German dates will take place between February 9 and 13 in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin.

Born on a US military base in Wiesbaden, Germany, ScHoolboy Q went back to America early. At school, Quincy Matthew Hanley stands out for his great football talent, and though he doesn't actually face any particular adversity or difficult circumstances, he soon finds himself looking into the deep social abyss of Los Angeles. He joins the 52 Hoover Crips and deals prescription painkillers. In the end, ScHoolboy Q ends up first behind bars and then in house arrest for a few months.

.The rapper processes the experience in 2008 in his first mixtape "ScHoolboy Turned Hustla" and thus gains the attention of Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, who as a label boss already has greats like Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock under contract and is immediately convinced of the young talent.

With the following two records "Setbacks" (2011) and "Habits .Ampersand Contradictions" (2012), ScHoolboy Q sets new standards and manages the balancing act between the icons of the old gangster rap era and the new heroes. Both albums placed him in the US Billboard 200 charts. The big international breakthrough comes in 2014 with "Oxymoron". The longplayer with platinum status lands at No. 1 on the charts in America and makes it into the Top 60 in Europe. The "Blank Face LP" (2016) also follows up on this success with its songs.
