For several weeks, contact blocks and "physical distancing" have been dominating everyday life. A normal everyday life is at the moment - and probably also in the next time - not to think. So the evening program is limited to the own four walls, what restaurants, cultural institutions, clubs and of course the whole German bar scene has to suffer. That's why bar owners are looking for new ways to keep their heads above water financially. After all, no one knows at the moment how long bars will have to stay closed. At the same time, cocktail lovers wistfully long for great drinks, interpersonal interaction and special evenings in their bars.
And this is exactly where the innovative Berlin start-up ShakeNight comes in with a new project. The mission: to use bar culture and cocktail enjoyment to bring people - be they entire teams or individuals - together online, and in the process support the bar community in the current tough times.
Normally, ShakeNights are held on-site in bars in various cities across Germany - including Frankfurt. With "ShakeNight Live", the start-up has briefly digitized its business model and provides bar atmosphere in German living rooms. Guided by real heroes behind the bar, participants are digitally initiated into the secrets of cocktail art via live video transmission. The workshop guarantees an interactive online live experience, enables entertaining evenings with other eager-to-learn bar enthusiasts and also serves a good cause under the hashtag #SHARITY.
Because through the #SHARITY campaign created by ShakeNight, attention is being drawn to the current very challenging situation and, in keeping with the motto and initiative of the same name #supportyourlocalbar, donations are being raised for the bar scene!
