THE KELLY FAMILY - The Success Story Continues!
In the 90s THE KELLY FAMILY belonged to the most successful bands in Europe.
They celebrated record after record and became absolute megastars. But then it became quiet around the band, the single members went their own ways and a common comeback was not to think for a long time. But could this really be the end? No! Because today we know: The enthusiasm around this unique family band always stayed alive. Last year happened what nobody had believed in anymore: 20 years after the last release the new album "We Got Love" shot from a standing start to #1 of the German album charts and THE KELLY FAMILY sold more than 700.000 records last year. With their sold-out comeback tour "We Got Love Tour 2017/2018" through Europe they reached over 400,000 spectators. THE KELLY FAMILY and their comeback were THE musical sensation of 2017/2018. The fans in absolute ecstasy and the band on another peak of their fantastic career. Originally, the tour finale on August 25, at the Loreley was supposed to be the grandiose conclusion of this fairytale comeback. The fans, however, saw this differently and showered THE KELLY FAMILY with their requests until the family reconsidered their plans:
"We all have solo projects and also our own families. How it should go on with us as a band after the last concert on the Loreley was unclear for us for a long time. But then came the countless mails and postings of the fans. Together we talked about how it could go on and we realized that we all don't want this feeling to end. That's why we want to play some selected open air concerts together next summer, under the motto 'We GIVE Love'. With these concerts we want to thank our audience once again in a very special way for all this incredible loyalty and support. We're really looking forward to it!",
