From 12 September 2025, the Raumfabrik Frankfurt will host the exhibition "The Last Days of Pompeii". It takes visitors on a journey to the ancient city on the Gulf of Naples – with detailed reconstructions, impressive exhibits and immersive experience rooms. Magnificent villas, bustling streets and the amphitheatre with its gladiator games bring everyday life in Pompeii shortly before the eruption of Vesuvius to life.
This is made possible by the use of state-of-the-art technology: Augmented reality and virtual reality open up new perspectives on frescoes, atriums and gardens, while an AI photo mirror transforms guests into Roman patricians. The result is an exhibition experience that not only tells history, but also makes it immediately tangible.
