Toronto native WESKA learned the craft of real mixing at the age of 15 with two Numark turntables and a 2-channel mixer. At the time, sync buttons didn't even exist. In the meantime Weska has established himself internationally with productions on Sian's OCTOPUS, on Tronic or on Kraftek. Currently he has delivered a remix for Jay Lumen on his label "Footwork". Weska's sound hits the dancefloor with an enormous vitality, makes every raver's heart beat faster and doesn't let a foot stand still.
The second big player in the bunch is JEAN PIERRE - a real New Yorker - more precisely from Queens. With this origin he should have an easy time in Frankfurt! But joking aside: With releases on Loco Dice' Desolat Jean Pierre lives the dream of a breakthrough. Furthermore he has released his production on Deeperfect and Defected - an electronic musician can hardly wish for more.
The former local heroes PATRICK LINDSEY and M.IN, who share a long friendship, have managed to take their sound far and wide, with Patrick growing up listening to Monika Kruse's Terminal M. Meanwhile, releases on SCI+TEC or the cool imprint Suara are also part of his discography. Patrick is always on top of the times, even if he likes to take a break from his creative work, only to come back with a new freshness and mix up the scene!
M.IN, on the other hand, has hardly allowed himself a break in the last 10 years: slowly but deliberately, Markus prepared his offensive. It all started with his own vinyl label "Kaufe Musik". Today his label catalogue is more than impressive: Desolat, Snatch! Brise, Trapez, Play It Down, Micro.Fon, Höhenregler, Robsoul, OFF or most recently with his own imprint "My Favourite Freaks" - M.in is simply a machine, a real phenomenon and knows what groove it takes to get you dancing.
