Two weekends full of magic and splendour
This year, Winter Magic Laubach will be shining on two weekends:
from 16 to 19 October and from 23 to 26 October 2025.
The Counts of Solms-Laubach open the gates of their castle and bathe Laubach in festive lights. Illuminated castle walls, pagoda tents decorated with stars and garlands and lovingly designed stalls give the market its fairytale atmosphere.
Around 130 exhibitors present their hand-picked treasures – from handicrafts and Christmas decorations to mulled wine and stollen, as well as many special ideas for a cosy home.

There is also something for everyone in terms of cuisine: Almond nougat, truffle delicacies, hot chestnuts, roasted almonds, Finnish flambéed salmon and the legendary Feuerzangenbowle from the copper kettle.
Exclusively for Winter Magic, the restaurant "Hirschfrikadelle" opens its doors – with game specialities from the Laubach forests and burgers with raclette cheese.
As dusk falls, the atmospheric illumination begins, accompanied by live music and fantastic stilt walkers – an unforgettable moment in a unique setting!

Thursday: 12 noon to 8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
