The Nibelungen city of Worms invites you to the big festival on the Rhine every year at the end of August.
Young and old meet on the "Kisselswiese" to celebrate together and enjoy the special atmosphere on the festival square, in the Wonnegau wine cellar, the Stiftskeller and in the "Gaadewirtschaft".
It is the mixture of wine and folk festival that makes the Backfischfest so unmistakable. Modern and traditional rides, the aroma of sweets and hearty meals as well as the good wines from our local winegrowers create a unique atmosphere that attracts many guests from outside Worms as well as locals.
