ZAZ, the Grande Dame of French Pop, is back on the road in Europe! Just en route for ZAZIMUT, the socially engaged singer's charitable concert project, she announces her new album for fall 2018 and an accompanying tour for spring 2019.
The charming chanteuse is using her 2018 ZAZIMUT shows as an ambassador for good causes. That includes performing tracks from her new album. How it sounds when it's finished, however, is not yet known, despite individual repertoire excerpts. From Gypsyswing to Singer/Songwriter, Chanson or French Pop, you can expect anything from the musical TausendZAZerin. Surely, however, the album will be a relevant release for Francophile music lovers and ZAZ fans. They can now look forward doubly, because the presale for the album accompanying ZAZ tour in 2019 is open. And it's going to be a "tour superbe."
Her verve and wit, husky voice and stylistic range make ZAZ not only an extraordinary recording artist, but also a terrific entertainer. Rousing recordings, such as the concert DVD of the
JazzOpen show in Stuttgart, bear witness to just how good things get when ZAZ takes the stage. No wonder her upcoming June 2018 ZAZIMUT show at Berlin's Philharmonie sold out in no time.
