Meatballs after Goethe's grandmother - First variation

Are you also tired of eating only the bland meatballs of the big fast food chains or do you just want to try something new? Then try out one of the two recipes below. Dose the ingredients depending on how many meatballs you want to make. Your butcher will certainly be happy to advise you on the amount of minced meat you need. For the first version of meatballs in the style of Goethe's grandmother, you will need:

Ingredients

- Ground beef

- Bacon

- Eggs

- Lemons

- Breadcrumbs (formerly called breadcrumbs)

- Cloves (formerly called nails)

- Nutmeg

- Salt

- Ginger

Preparation:

Cut the bacon very small, mix it with the minced meat, eggs and breadcrumbs, add some lemon and mix the whole thing again vigorously. Then season to taste with salt, cloves, nutmeg and ginger. Form the meatballs and fry them well in a pan. The finished meatballs can then be served hot or cold with a variety of side dishes. They are especially delicious with potato salad or fried potatoes.
