It started as a small hotel show in Ohio in 1943. Today, nearly 80 years later, HOLIDAY ON ICE is the most successful ice show of all time. To date, over 100 productions have thrilled more than 330 million viewers worldwide. That has earned this show concept a well-deserved entry in the Guinness Book of Records.
Over 6,000 professional figure skaters, including 14 Olympic medalists, have stood on the ice for the various shows and slipped into more than 29,200 costumes made especially for the productions. A truly impressive success story that will continue in Frankfurt in 2023.
From mid-November 2022, the new HOLIDAY ON ICE ice show entitled A NEW DAY will go on tour and bring top-class live entertainment to 22 German cities. The audience can expect a breathtaking spectacle, because A NEW DAY is the most technically and artistically elaborate production of HOLIDAY ON ICE so far and shows figure skating and artistry at the highest level. At the start of the new year 2023, from 03.01. to 08.01.2023, the new show will be seen in the Frankfurt Festhalle.
Stunning stage designs, imaginative costumes, spectacular stage technology, and rousing music make A NEW DAY a show of superlatives, in which figure skating and acrobatics merge perfectly. Staged as a 360-degree experience, you can feel the thrilling energy and incomparable dynamics from every seat. A NEW DAY combines state-of-the-art live entertainment and goosebump moments to create a unique show experience. It tells the emotional story of Aurora, who learns about the beauty and diversity of our colorful world in all its colors, shapes and facets.

34 figure skaters and four acrobats from 15 different nations provide quite a few wow moments on the ice. To the Frankfurt premiere on 03 January comes besides still additionally extraordinary olympia shine on the ice: Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron, gold medal winners in the ice dance with the olympic Games 2022 in Peking, show among other things.Among other things, excerpts of their Olympic freestyle.
Also the international creative team is top-class occupied: Star choreographer Nathan Clarke staged as assistant director and lead choreographer u.Nathan Clarke was assistant director and lead choreographer for the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in London, where he created performances for world stars such as Rihanna, Coldplay, Jay-Z, Queen and many more.
Silvia Aymonino, costume designer at A NEW DAY, designed the costumes for the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Turin, among other things. For A NEW DAY, she created more than 300 individual costumes and headdress pieces.
With Francisco Negrin, CEO and producer Peter O'Keeffe has been able to secure an extraordinarily successful creative director for HOLIDAY ON ICE's most technically and artistically elaborate production to date. Francisco Negrin has directed numerous acclaimed productions in major opera houses around the world as well as stunning live events.
