FESTIVALS IN 2026

5 - 7 June 2026: Rock am Ring is one of Europe's biggest rock festivals, held annually at the legendary Nürburgring, just a 90-minute drive from Frankfurt – with headliners in 2026 including Volbeat, Linkin Park, Iron Maiden and many more.

22–25 May 2026: The OPEN OHR Festival in Mainz is a four-day cultural festival held at the Mainz Citadel, which attracts around 11,000 visitors every year with music, theatre, cabaret, panel discussions and performance art, and offers a platform for education and exchange with over 100 speakers from the worlds of politics, culture, science and business.

05. - 7 June 2026: The World Club Dome is an electronic music festival that has been held annually since 2013, transforming Frankfurt into the world's largest club at the end of May or beginning of June.

12 - 21 June 2026: The Hessentag is an annual festival that celebrates the Hessian way of life with a variety of concerts, events, cultural programmes and regional specialities, and this year will focus on the city of Fulda for ten days.

6 June - 16. July 2026: Summer in the City Mainz is an annual open-air concert series that offers an unforgettable open-air experience with a diverse summer programme in the most beautiful locations in Mainz.

20 June - 5 September 2026: The Rheingau Music Festival is a renowned summer festival that presents concerts of classical music, jazz and other genres in historic castles, churches and wineries against the picturesque backdrop of the Rheingau region.

25 - 26 July 2026: The Love Family Park Frankfurt is a renowned electronic music festival featuring top acts such as Sven Väth and Charlotte de Witte, which has been held annually since 1996 and attracts around 10,000 electronic music fans.

Mid-June to early July 2026: STOFFEL in Frankfurt is a popular open-air event in Günthersburgpark, which has been offering live music, theatre, readings, children's activities and many other attractions in a unique atmosphere for 20 years.

24 July - 9 August 2026: The Sommerwerft - Theaterfestival am Fluss in Frankfurt is an international performance, dance and theatre festival that presents artistic and cultural highlights directly on the riverbank at the Weseler Werft in the heart of the city for two weeks each year.

24 - 26 July 2026: The Trebur Open Air is a three-day indie, rock and pop festival that takes place at the Trebur outdoor swimming pool and combines music, summer atmosphere and friendship.

24 - 25 April 2026: The Craft Beer Festival Frankfurt brings beer lovers and brewing artists together to celebrate the diversity of craft beers in a relaxed atmosphere and offers exceptional beers and exciting discussions with master brewers.

4–6 September 2026: The Riviera Festival Offenbach is a diverse open-air festival on the banks of the Main River, offering a unique experience with electronic music, art installations and a relaxed atmosphere.

3–6 September 2026: According to the organisers, the Glücksgefühle Festival is Germany's largest music festival, just a 70-minute drive from Frankfurt. September/October 2026: The Kronberg Festival "Good Vibrations" is an international music festival organised by the Kronberg Academy that invites people to experience and harness the powerful effect of music.
