...and again the question arises, why should a workshop, a Volvo car dealership, be listed in My FFM? Is´s here not about the city and what it offers great? Frankfurt is not only a beautiful, modern and exciting city, 700tsd. people live here, who all somehow organize their everyday life, have to get from A to B and sometimes have to bring their crate to the workshop or need a new one. There are great service providers for this, with great people that you just have to recommend!
...and since so much in Frankfurt always has to be "oh so chic" and international, and that is often even more important than honest, competent and friendly service, I would like to take this opportunity to advertise a real family business, which does not reside in one of these glass show car showrooms, but has been doing what it does best for 45 years with a friendliness long thought to be a thing of the past, caring for Volvos and gladly selling one of these traditional Swedish brands. Here you still know the customers and take them seriously, even if it is only a small question. Deadlines are met, the workshop works carefully and the prices are absolutely decent! For me an aha experience, after I did not even receive a call back from the local "center" on the Hanauer Landstrasse - despite several requests - to spend a few thousand Euros!
Do you constantly need leather armchairs, fancy OLED screens and gelled salesmen with thick watches and ties? Go to family Amthauer and you too will enjoy it when it says in the morning at 7.30h: "Wollense e Tässje Kaffee?"
