Under the motto "Experience the Bundesbank", the Deutsche Bundesbank is inviting visitors to its open days at its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main on 25 and 26 May. A varied programme of information and entertainment awaits guests. For example, visitors can experience a virtual reality tour of the Bundesbank's headquarters in the cinema tent in front of the main building or enjoy a unique view of the Frankfurt skyline from the 13th floor of the main building. Information stands of various institutions, such as the Federal Police with its dog squad, as well as the demonstration of a cash processing machine offer interesting facts. The Bundesbank rally offers the chance to win a collector's coin.
There will also be lots of fun for the younger guests: they can experiment, do handicrafts and climb, or have a caricature artist immortalise them on a personalised banknote.
In addition to quiz presentations and Q&A sessions, including one with Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann, there will be a varied stage programme with live music from the Urban Club Band, the rope-jumping duo Charmant Brilliant and interesting interviews with experts from the financial sector.
