With his debut album "Inspiration" (Sony Classical), Florian Christl immediately made it to No. 1 on the iTunes classical charts in March 2018. The 28-year-old composer and pianist is musically self-taught. His music does not come from the classroom, does not feed on theory. Rather, it reflects the passion with which he lives his music. The harmonic sound worlds of piano, violins, viola, cellos and occasionally powerful percussion with their catchy melodies touch and move. His style fits directly into the ranks of contemporary "New Classics" composers such as Max Richter, Yann Tiersen or Ludovico Einaudi.
