Filmforum Höchst shows documentary about alternative economies and ways of life
What if there was a formula to save the world? What if each of us could contribute to it? In their "Documentary: Tomorrow - The World is Full of Solutions," actress Mélanie Laurent and French activist Cyril Dion talk to experts and visit projects around the world that have drawn their conclusions from environmentally destructive and profit-driven economics and have arrived at alternative ways of doing business and living.
The Filmforum Höchst at Emmerich-Josef-Strasse 46 will show the film on Wednesday, February 22, at 7 p.m.
Initiatives like those presented in the film also exist in Frankfurt. One of them is the SoLawi cooperation (Solidarity Farming). It organizes exchanges with organic farms in the region and supports the strengthening of a regional and as sustainable as possible organic agriculture. At the film evening, two SoLawi representatives will present the work of the cooperation.
