It's finally here: the epic main trailer for the fantasy action spectacle THE LAST WITCH HUNTER, awaited not only by Vin Diesel fans worldwide. Starting October 22, Vin Diesel as the immortal witch hunter Kaulder will mercilessly hunt down the most evil witches in film history with his flaming sword under the sign of "Axe and Cross", led by their ruthless queen (Julie Engelbrecht).
In the ultimate war between our world and the next, he receives unexpected support from the good witch Chloe, played by "Game of Thrones" star Rose Leslie. Together, they bring to an end the battle that began 800 years ago, following Kaulder's motto: "Live forever. Eternally hunt."
About the content:
Kaulder (Vin Diesel), one of the last witch hunters in the world today, must protect New York from destructive forces. Not quite voluntarily, the immortal hunter allies himself with Chloe (Rose Leslie) to put a stop to the countless witches and sorcerers who are up to no good under the rule of the vile Witch Queen (Julie Engelbrecht). These seem to multiply threateningly, after they have already killed a large part of the witch hunters. Soon it's up to the unlikely duo to stop the growing army of witches and their queen once and for all.
Director Breck Eisner already taught us to fear THE CRAZIES. Now he's found the perfect cast for the badass witch hunter Kaulder in action star Vin Diesel (FAST & FURIOUS film series). "Game of Thrones" wildling Rose Leslie embodies the good witch who takes up the fight against witch queen Julie Engelbrecht (NAPOLA - ELITE FOR THE LEADER) at Kaulder's side. In other roles are: Elijah Wood (THE LORD OF THE RINGS), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (best known as the oddball helicopter pilot from THE FIRST AWESOME LIFE OF WALTER MITTY) and the incomparable Michael Caine (THE DARK KNIGHT film series).
