KAZÉ Anime Nights presents Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry

The grand finale on July 31 in German language version

Fairy Tail launches into its grand finale. 10 years after the start of the manga series, Fairy Tail is now heading towards its climax. The final chapter of the adventure kicks off in the stunning feature film.

The mages of the Fairy Tail guild must embark on a quest to find a lost artifact with immense destructive power. The guild includes the dragon slayer Natsu, who can manipulate fire. With his partner in crime Happy and his companions Lucy, Erza and Gray, he faces a variety of challenges. Their latest adventure now takes them to the kingdom of Stella, a deserted island surrounded by sheer cliffs. There, a heroic battle awaits them that will decide their fate.

Hiro Mashima personally conceived the story for the new film and wrote a roughly 200-page storyboard. The manga he developed, Fairy Tail, launched in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2006 and has since enjoyed great international success. Over 60 million volumes of Fairy Tail have sold worldwide.

In 2009, an anime TV adaptation followed, which currently has 277 episodes. KAZÉ Anime released the Fairy Tail TV series on DVD and Blu-ray in 2017.
