Dancehall and reggae from Jamaica are not a topic for the feuilleton in Frankfurt, but subculture in the best sense. And as cultural creators, Dubs Till Dawn have been shaping the local scene for 10 years. From illegal parties in Bockenhighm in 2007, to the regular "Dancehall University" at Café Kurzschlusz, to the current party series "Island Vibes" at Orange Peel: With a passion for music and a penchant for ecstasy, the crew has established itself in Frankfurt's nightlife beyond the mainstream. Dubs Till Dawn stand for dancehall in Frankfurt - beyond the city limits. The way led the soundsystem to Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Mannheim and Munich. To Brussels, Lausanne, Perugia, Prague, Warsaw and Vienna. Being on the road together, getting to know new cities, celebrating wild parties - and above all: meeting people and making friends. This "golden decade" (FAZ, not) will now be celebrated extensively, on September 29 in the Dora Brilliant of Tanzhaus West. With the heavy headliner "Heavy Hammer" from Italy, as well as the friendly acts Dario Scenario (Kaos Dj Club), Triplet (Island Vibes), and D-Licious and Mantiz (Presto), who will play on the second floor all the music that sometimes comes up short. And before things really get going indoors, there'll be something to snack on in the outdoor area, some nice reggae on the ears, and a chance to share with each other anecdotes from 10 years of Dubs Till Dawn.
