A special place, a special band and a very special audience. These are the ingredients of a magical open-air evening for young and old at the 10th Frankfurt Flashlight Concert on the banks of the Main.
The concert starts out groovy, gets all tender and quiet in between, with beautiful melodies and interludes. Cuddling with mum and rocking with granddad, solving tricky riddles and above all singing, singing, singing - all this is possible in the glow of the setting late summer sun. And then, when the first stars twinkle above the city's skyscrapers, the children send their secret wishes into the Frankfurt evening sky with thousands of flashlights.
The Frankfurt Children's Office presents this musical theater on the occasion of World Children's Day on Friday, September 16 at the Weseler Werft (Flößerbrücke). Admission is from 5.30 pm, concert starts at 7 pm.
