When Europe was still Europe and everything seemed manageable, on 1.1.2015, an electro duo formed in Munich and named themselves after that very date: 1115. On their first album "Post-Europe", produced with Notwist members Markus Acher and Cico Beck and released on Alien Transistor, 1115 deal with the dissolution of Europe and explore questions of political representation. They interweave Virtual 808 drum machine, bass and synthesizer with voice loops and samples. Danceable post-ambient touches colleagues like Arca and Dean Blunt, Drexicya and Dopplereffekt, Moritz von Oswald or Sun Ra.
