Juksakka lives far up north in Lapland and belongs to the Sámi people who have been herding herds of reindeer for centuries. However, in Juksakka's family, only her grandfather still keeps reindeer and he can no longer take care of them. Juksakka wants to save her grandfather's herd and take care of the animals herself, but to do so she must win the great reindeer sled race in Jokkmokk. Will she be able to keep pulling with her reindeer?
