As 2CELLOS! the exceptional cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser thrill audiences worldwide with furious concerts in which they prove to be virtuosos of the most diverse genres. The two Croatian musicians enchant their listeners with classical interpretations as well as with brilliant duets from the realm of rock and pop music. After their sold-out German tours, 2CELLOS will come to Stuttgart, Dresden, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich for five concerts in early June with their two-part "The Score" show. They discovered their passion for the cello already in their childhood. Both enjoyed an excellent classical education: Sulic at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Hauser at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Sulic's awards include first prize in the European Broadcasting Union "New Talent" Competition (2006). Hauser has worked with celebrated classical greats such as Mstislav Rostropovich, Bernard Greenhouse and Ivry Giltis. He has won no less than 21 national and international competitions. Both have enjoyed success at major international classical venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Wigmore Hall in London, as well as the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna. In 2011, 2CELLOS achieved international fame with their rendition of the Michael Jackson hit "Smooth Criminal". Their YouTube video went viral and has received over 25 million views to date. This initial success earned them a record deal with Sony Masterworks and an invitation to accompany Sir Elton John on his world tour. Here they acted as special guests as well as part of the Elton John band.
