Just in time for the start of the event series "Summer in Aschaffenburg" a piece of the North Sea spills directly in front of Johannisburg Castle. But do not worry! No one will get their feet wet here. Herring, scampi, salmon and all their colleagues from the sea do everything to make sure that the people of Aschaffenburg find them tasty - and have been doing so for 30 years. That's how long the Hamburg fish market has been coming to the western edge of the Spessart with all its delicacies fresh from the galley, and it still brings plenty of Waterkant feeling for big and small buttjes. This includes shanties and other sailor music.
According to the motto "Fishing and shopping", the Aschaffenburger can fish for the best catches and in between catch their breath and enjoy.
