Offenbach's many facets will once again be visible and tangible on June 24 and 25, when around 120 of Offenbach's more than 300 associations join forces to create the 31st Mainuferfest.
Next to numerous sports and cultural associations, the associations of immigrants provide lively diversity on the festival mile between Büsingpalais and Isenburg Castle. After all, people from 158 nations have found a home in Offenbach, and the culinary programme is correspondingly colourful. Visitors will be spoilt for choice, choosing between Bengali lamb curry, Portuguese bacalao, Greek gyros or Turkish pitta. Or better yet, fresh trout at the fishermen's? To finish off, a crepe or a Croatian pancake? In addition to all these temptations, the whole variety of Offenbach's club life is presented, at the stands, but also on the stage in the inner courtyard of the Büsingpalais. Sports, dance, folklore, as always entertainingly presented by HR editor Roman Janik. In the evening Jammin Cool heat up the celebrating audience with pop and rock music.
