A down-to-earth cuisine, fine wines and the historic setting make the Schoppenhof at the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt a popular summer destination. On May 19, the open-air season will officially open there - as in the past three years in conjunction with a large wine market. Renowned vintners from the surrounding wine regions will present their best drops. Matching the wine selection, there will be culinary specialties from the hotel kitchen at more than 20 stands. A DJ will provide the background music, and visitors can win vouchers from the hotel, among other things, at a tombola. Tickets are available in advance for EUR 12 at the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt, the price includes an engraved wine glass for tasting. Most of the proceeds from ticket and raffle sales will go to Kinderhilfestiftung e. V. Frankfurt.
The fourth wine market at Schoppenhof is a great opportunity to discover and stock up on your favorite summer wine. Visitors can taste growths from more than 15 vintners from the Rheingau, Rheinhessen, Mosel and the Palatinate, among others. The Kempinski kitchen team will provide the necessary basis: separate stands will offer onion tart, barbecue specialties, tarte flambée and Crèpes in different varieties. The wine market is open from 12:00 to 18:00. In addition to the advance sale, people on short notice can also purchase a ticket on the day itself at the on-site ticket office. This costs EUR 14 per person.
