Works by Platti, Biber, Bach, Vivaldi and Graziani
Italy set the musical tone around 1700. Those who could afford it brought Italian musicians and composers to their courts. Vivaldi's concertos influenced composers everywhere, including Bach. Is this an early (and more positive) form of globalization? Perhaps this is where Ensemble Armoniosa, founded in 2012, picks up when their homepage reads, "Local trend, global thinking."
