Like so many things, this trend also comes from the USA: the "handmade movement", with its passion for homemade and do-it-yourself. You can get a good overview of what's on offer in Hofheim. So the Stadthalle will be a place for handmade, independent design, original ideas and a meeting place for all who go new ways with their (hand)-work and offer or look for alternatives to the mainstream and mass-produced goods.
Fitting for the beginning of spring, the exhibitors will bring the latest creative trends for spring / summer 2020. The fabrics, patchwork and wool section has also been enlarged and
will present the latest collections. Designers bring their latest spring collections to Hofheim and the labels show their unique pieces handmade in Germany. After last year's great success, the exhibition area has been enlarged again and now offers space for over 90 exhibitors from 7 nations.
On Saturday from 11-18 clock and on Sunday from 10 to 17 clock, visitors can be inspired in the city hall and ideas, new trends, the appropriate techniques to know and
purchase the necessary material for the same. But it doesn't always have to be the latest thing. At the stand of Reinhold Jakob from Bürstadt there is a huge selection of antique buttons and beads from Bohemia. Especially (young) designers surround the unique pieces already in the early morning hours. Of course, you can also buy the matching antique costume jewellery.
From Frankfurt, the company Cutandsquare brings a large selection of patchwork fabrics and accessories. The selection of materials for patchwork lovers knows no bounds. The area of handicraft accessories has also been enlarged. From Holland exhibitors show at your booths, papers, 3D sheets, stickers,the latest punches, tools and more.
