Directly at the Museumsufer, the five-day rowing festival takes place, where the Frankfurter Regatta-Verein presents the entire rowing sport in all its facets.
The Frankfurter Regatta-Verein with its 13 members of the performance community offers an unprecedented live experience over 5 days. A total of around 70 hours of entertainment await on the water and our large open-air stage under the Holbeinsteg on the days of the event. There will be 7 live acts with a total of over 100 performers and there will be over 1000 athletes competing for this event. Thus, the Rowing Festival has developed to last year in all areas by about 10%.
The sports department Markus Frank is pleased about the 8th Rowing Festival: " The successful combination of competitions in popular, junior and elite sports fits the sports city Frankfurt. The rowing festival is an excellent sports and leisure event for the whole family."
Musical Highlights
There will be live music on the stage below the Holbeinsteg every day from Wednesday, May 24 to Sunday, May 28. On Wednesday we start from 19:15 with the legendary Roxxbuster, who now show up for the third time in a row at the Rowing Festival. On Saturday "Das Kollektiv" will play before and after the DFB-Pokal final and show rock-pop at its best. Another musical treat will be offered by "Mr. Rod" with his program "Rhythm of my Heart" on Sunday from 15:00. So it is worthwhile purely from a musical point of view to come by the Holbeinsteg.
On Thursday, "Colours feat. Smiley Garfield" will be playing at the Frühschoppen from 11:30 am and invites you to linger in the beer garden. From 19:15 "Jokebox - The greatest hits to party to" will be presented for the audience on stage. On Sunday, the day kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with "High-Voltage - Finest Rock Anthems".
