The comedy also ensures this winter that the audience is warmed by hearty laughter around the heart. On the program is "A Room for Two," a turbulent comedy by Kay Bannerman and Harold Brooke. And that's what the play is about:

Mary and Humphrey "Humpy" Millar's second honeymoon is going anything but as planned. Humpy has been persuaded by his wife to go skiing in the Alps, when he would much rather have repeated their honeymoon on the east coast of England. But before he can even get up to speed on his skiing, he ends up in quarantine with the measles in the hotel's drafty attic room. Mary, more amused than concerned by her husband's "affliction," initially tries to salvage their days together with marital care. Soon, however, she has had enough of Humpy's whining and looks around for alternatives, both for her husband's care and for a companion for various vacation activities. The former is solved by the use of Nannie Cartwright, whom Humpy has known since childhood; the latter is no problem either, as the attractive Mary has no shortage of suitors. There's her ex-husband Clive, who ends up in Humpy's room due to a booking mishap, or the hotelier Victor, who's immediately on standby for a run-up to the summit. And Humpy, suddenly no longer sure of his wife, is tempted to drastic measures...
