A hungry wolf sets out in the night to find something to eat and he is lucky. A lonely farm, a lonely stable, in it a lonely sheep.
Every child knows that in such an encounter the sheep is in grave danger of death. The story thrives on this tension and tells how the wolf persuades the sheep to go on an excursion to "Experiences", how the sheep quite naively gets involved, narrowly escapes danger again and again, and how the mismatched pair end up forming a very unusual friendship after all.
