Imagine the doorbell rings and Mutti from Dresden is standing in front of the door. In her hand she has two suitcases and suddenly she stands in the living room with the sentence: "You have to take me in for a few days. I don't have a flat any more." But a " couple of days" turn into weeks and threaten to turn into months. Now it's time to squeeze into a small space. A test of strength within the family. Mum has her own opinion on everything and of course always contradicts her daughter. The pressing questions of the time: How many refugees can the country take, why are the rich getting richer and the poor poorer and where is the hoped-for grandchild? Is our democracy still democratic and why do jam rolls always fall on the jam side? Mother answers all these questions with amazing simplicity. But no one asks Muddi.
