The Rhein-Main-Philharmoniker under their conductor Hans Friedrich Härle invite you to this pre-Christmas gala concert with highlights from opera and musical to blues and gospel. One part of the concert is themed "Classical" and presents, among others, Laura Ochmann on the violin, who began her professional training at the Pre-College Cologne at the age of 10. Afterwards, the focus is on Broadway and the musicians will present well-known hits such as "Summertime" from the worldwide hit, "Porgy and Bess" by George Gershwin or "Don't cry for me, Argentina" from the musical "Evita" by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Guest stars this time are Natascha Wright and Alfred McCrary, two well-known stars from the United States. While Alfred McCrary was on stage early on with his family "The Crarys" and has written lyrics for songs by Michael Jackson, among others, Natascha Wright is known as the singer of the successful group "La Bouche". Also taking part is a show choir from the renowned Stage Academy in Oberursel with young up-and-coming artists.
The Langen art and culture community guarantees a concert with a lot of drive, where it will not keep the audience on the seats.
