Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of visiting the picturesque Rebstockpark on a summer weekend will have noticed that this green oasis by the Rebstockbad regularly transforms into a multi-cultural meeting place without equal in Frankfurt. In soothing harmony, entire extended families spend their Sunday afternoons barbecuing together, and everywhere you can hear the most diverse languages, musical sounds or chants, always mixed with the delicious aroma of exotic food.
For this reason, this dreamlike setting is just uniquely suited for hosting a cultural festival. The African and Caribbean Cultural Association e.V. (AKKV) organizes on Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th already for the 22nd time the popular African - Caribbean Culture Festival. There will be a lot on offer: Live music from Africa (e.g. by Black Prophet, Love & Unity Band and many more), Caribbean rhythms, various food and drinks, an African market, handicrafts, a children's program with a bouncy castle, a reading and various information booths. The party will go on until late in the evening. You should not miss this festival for the whole family.
