On Saturday, 24. August 2019, Zoo Vivarium Darmstadt invites you to the African Night from 6 to 10 p.m. with a varied entertainment program for young and old guests.
Zoo fans can immerse themselves in the fascinating and varied world of 2,000 exotic and native animals on this evening and enjoy many attractions for the whole family. With a make-up tent, a children's carousel and show feedings at the new African enclosure and tapirs, entertainment for all guests is guaranteed.
City Treasurer André Schellenberg is delighted that, after 2015, there will once again be an evening event at Darmstadt Zoo, once again supported by Sparda-Bank Hessen: "With the donation of 2,500 euros, with which the bank participates in the event through its Gewinn-Sparverein, Zoo Vivarium was able to put together a varied program with many attractions for the whole family," explains the city treasurer.
Musically, the evening will be accompanied by African drummers. At various stalls there will be jewellery, accessories, textiles and handicrafts from Africa.
