Festival Euroclassic 2017
The Italian-American guitarist is best known for his high speed guitar playing, where he actually plays every note with his right hand and keeps it clean.
Characteristic is also his use of percussive techniques that allow him to create a unique sound to his playing.
In 1981, together with guitarists John McLaughlin and Paco de Lucia, he recorded what is probably his most famous live album, "Friday Night in San Francisco", which sold over two million copies. He was discovered at the age of 19 by pianist Chick Corea.
He played with him, or music greats such as Stanley Clarke or Lenny White, among others.
