Sure, Alex has bumblebees in his butt. But no need to worry, even with his third studio album, his gang has him watering the front yard of the townhouse. In keeping with the album's theme of departure and escape, it's time to trade the couch for the tour bus and the living room for concert halls to have all sorts of tragic, comical and even whimsical adventures and tell about them on stage.
While the new release will still be celebrated on a grand scale at the Hurricane and Southside festivals at the end of June, as well as at a number of other open-air shows, the release of " Ende Offen" will of course be accompanied by a club tour. By the end of 2019, band and fans alike will once again be sweaty and happy in each other's arms.
There still remains the moderately pigeonholed question. The loudest pop band in the country? Maybe. A punk rock band with pop appeal? Works, too. However, anyone who snags a ticket to see ALEX MOFA GANG in 2019 and ends up going nuts at one of the shows will quickly discover that the guys are best just filed under "Yeah!". Yeah! file and not waste the moment on trivialities.
