During her 35-year recording career, three-time BRIT Award winner and Grammy nominee Alison Moyet released 9 solo studio albums and an additional 3 compilations. In 2017, Alison returned with a new album, Other, which draws a collection of electronic vignettes both sublimely poetic and mischievously ironic, and has received extensive praise from publications such as Q, Mojo, Classic Pop, The Sun and Record Collector.
In support of the album, Alison embarked on a triumphant world tour, performing at 59 shows in 58 cities, including two nights at the legendary London Palladium, The Fillmore in San Francisco and the Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
Following the overwhelming success of the tour, promoters in Germany invited Alison to return for more shows as soon as possible.
In the beginning, Alison Moyet stepped into the spotlight as one half of seminal electro duo Yazoo, producing two influential hit albums during their short-term alchemical partnership before the duo disbanded at the peak of their success. After a bitter takeover battle, Alison signed with Columbia and began her extraordinary solo career, which has spawned numerous multi-platinum albums and sold-out tours around the world.
In addition to acting roles in both Chicago - The Musical and Smaller, for which she helped compose the soundtrack and performed on stage alongside Dawn French, Alison performed at Live Aid, released a live DVD recording of "One Blue Voice," received the Nordoff Robbins Icon Award, and was named 2017 Solo Artist of the Year by Classic Pop Magazine.
