The story of three friends Neil Foot, Ben Connolly and Kelvin Barr from the towns of Wicklow and Kildare in the east of Ireland goes back to their school days together, when the three discovered their love of storytelling and songwriting. In 2011, they formed their band - and are just 19 years old at the time.
Their very own blend of indie-DIY aesthetics, bringing together synths, strings, horn sections with intimate folk moments, is quickly gaining international attention: their very first single 'Never' (known to many as background music for the travel portal Trivago's commercial), recorded entirely at home, sells 120. 000 copies worldwide via iTunes, paving the way for their first album.000 copies worldwide via iTunes, paving the way for their self-titled debut, released here in 2014 on Haldern Pop, which saw them headline numerous festival vials as well as three European tours. Today, all three band members live in Berlin and are currently preparing the release of their second album 'A Blind Arcade', which will be released via Finetunes/Rough Trade at the end of February 2018 and represents a quantum leap for the band in every respect.
