By Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patelliére
With: Herbert Herrmann and Nora von Collande
Directed by: Herbert Hermann
It may be laughed again heartily in the Fritz Rémond theater at the Frankfurt zoo. The popular actor Herbert Herrmann stands in the play "Alles was sie wollen" not only on stage, but also directs. The comedy by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière ("The First Name," "The Farewell Dinner") cleverly draws on the elemental power of dramatic art, the play of illusion and reality. It's original, funny and very entertaining!
And that's what the play is about:
Lucie, a successful playwright, has writer's block. Until now, her failed and chaotic personal life provided the material for her plays. But now she is happy, also happily married, as she says, and any inspiration to write is missing; the paper remains white. If only someone could make her a little unhappy ...
Life means well for her and a broken bathtub leads to an encounter with Thomas, her neighbor. The two could not be more different. She restless and self-centered, he resting in himself, a bit ponderous. Nevertheless, the two get closer and develop a daring plan to revive Lucie's creativity.
