After 15 years and 10 CD releases as guitarist, producer and composer of the German heavy metal institution RAGE and with hits written by him like 'Down', 'Soundchaser', 'War Of Worlds', 'Straight To Hell', 'Carved In Stone' RAGE and Victor Smolski announced their separation in January 2015. Victor Smolski is now continuing his career with ALMANAC. The unique sound of LMO has become heavier and more modern. The guitarist has brought numerous former LMO band members Jeanette Marchewka (vocals) and the Orquestra Barcelona Filharmonia on board. New on board, however, are bassist Armin Alic, drummer Michael Kolar and keyboardist Enric Garcia. Completing the prominent ALMANAC line-up are top vocalists David Readman (PINK CREAM 69) and Andy B. Franck (BRAINSTORM).
The first ALMANAC release opens a new, exciting, interesting chapter for the band. Traditional power metal combined with a bombastic orchestral sound, elements of world music and modernity make the band an absolute listening experience. Belarus-born guitarist Smolski will be backed by the Orquestra Barcelona Filharmonia.
