The success story of the "Klassik Crossover" project launched by Alphaville on the occasion of their 40th anniversary together with Edel Neue Meister and MSK Meistersinger continues. After the sensational chart success of "Eternally Yours" (#2 in the German album charts), Alphaville made guest appearances together with the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg in various prime-time formats on German TV (e.g. Florian Silbereisen's "Das große Schlagerjubiläum" and "The Voice of Germany").
The advance ticket sales for the 2023 Philharmonic Tour are meanwhile visibly developing into a real "home run". Seven concerts of the Alphaville Symphonic Tour are already sold out. Due to the high demand, MSK is opening ticketing for six additional concerts in time for the particularly strong sales period before the Christmas holidays. In addition to the well-known tour stops in Hamburg, Leipzig, Essen and Berlin, Austria and Switzerland are now also on board with the Konzerthaus Wien and the KKL Luzern.
Alphaville look back on 40 years of band history and took this as an opportunity to export their greatest hits to the symphonic world. Their new album "Eternally Yours" (Edel Neue Meister) is more than a translation of the Alphaville classics into the sound spectrum of a large orchestra. It is rather a symbiosis between Marian Gold's unique vocal abilities, the original Alphaville sound and the majestically powerful facet of the large cast German Film Orchestra Babelsberg.
