Accompanying the opening ceremony of the new Old Town, the SCHIRN offers an extensive and free program for children and families for three days.
Before it starts in autumn with the exhibitions KÖNIG DER TIERE. WILHELM KUHNERT AND THE PICTURE OF AFRICA and WILDNESS, we will unleash the animals of the African continent on the jungle of houses in the new Old Town. In the outdoor space of the SCHIRN, children and their parents can construct their very own architectural utopias and visions out of paper and cardboard, which will then be populated with an animal and plant world of their own design.
