Three people: A painter, a school principal, a young mother. A schoolyard. A playground carousel. Nine months, three seasons, no summer. The works of the Iranian author and director Amir Reza Koohestani - a regular guest at the Mousonturm and also at the Münchner Kammerspiele, among others - have enriched and inspired the international theatre scene for 20 years with great subtlety and precision. His plays carefully reveal the stories of men, women and this time also children in today's Iran. They tell between the lines, from the power of silence, minimalist and with dramaturgical finesse. A thrilling everyday drama at a Tehran girls' primary school, to which Koohestani, as a true master of the unspeakable, gives a truly universalist dimension in the multimedia realist stage space of visual artist Shahryar Hatami and with the help of his superb actors and actresses.
In Farsi with German surtitles / Text & Directed by Amir Reza Koohestani / With: Mona Ahmadi, Saeid Changizian & Leyli Rashidi
