The Rap & Soul Multitalent 2019 on Tour in Germany
In the history of music, there have been one or two drummers who would later make it big on the mic - think Stevie Wonder, Dave Grohl or Phil Collins. Anderson .Paak moves in this tradition across the stages of this world. The 32-year-old rapper, singer, drummer and producer from Oxnard, California combines the classic elements of Motown, soul and funk with the aesthetics of modern R&B, rap and pop. Along with his live band, the Free Nationals, he celebrates all facets of African-American music with great skill and even greater passion. Brandon Paak Anderson grew up in the '80s in circumstances that weren't always easy, but it was in the church behind the drum set that he found his purpose. Since then he produced music in his own home, first under a different name and with moderate success. That was to change in 2013, however, when hip-hop mogul Dr. Dre discovered the exceptional talent after hearing the song "Suede" from Paak's album "Venice." From then on, everything happened very quickly: Brandon was featured on six songs of Dr. Dre's third studio album "Compton" and thus became known to a wide audience. 2016 also saw his final breakthrough as a solo artist with his album "Malibu." On November 16, his third solo album, titled "Oxnard," was released to much anticipation and acclaim from critics and fans alike. With the single "Tints" feat. Kendrick Lamar, a harbinger had already made its way to the public and gave hope for great things to come. In the spring of 2019, Anderson .Paak comes to Germany and Austria Text source and more information about this event at: https://www.jahrhunderthalle.de/programm/kalender/anderson-paak/23-03-2019-20-00/
