A Finn, an Italian and two Swiss bring good mood, joy of playing and finest listening pleasure into the house. Each of the musicians not only has his own signature, but is also stylistically at home in his own field. Between jazz and world music, eclecticism and avant-garde, the four play their way into the ears of their audience with ease. Sparkling, fresh, new and yet somehow familiar. Together with his traditional duo partner, drummer Lucas Niggli, Schaerer meets accordionist Luciano Biondini and guitarist Kalle Kalima. Poetic is the program when Biondini serves jazzy Italianità, cool and raw on the other hand when Kalima turns on his electronically alienated sounds - between the worlds the four generate a concentrated energy!
